Meet THE OWNER OF REFEYEANCE: cRYSTAL kURTZ
Crystal has worked in the beauty industry since 1999. She started her career in retail cosmetics as a makeup counter manager for Elizabeth Arden. Then she continued her journey to Clinique where she worked as a beauty consultant for several years. Then she was hired as a MAC Makeup Artist in January 2003. She worked for MAC for 7 years. In this position she also became the District Manager covering Ohio, Kentucky and the West Virginia region. She was a mentor and business trainer to over 75 Makeup Artists and MAC Retail Counter Managers. During her time as MAC Senior Retail Manger she also traveled around the United States doing makeup for fashion shows and television and was a featured makeup artist on the TV show Bridezillas. This opened her creativity to the world of makeup & hair for weddings. She fell in love with the bridal beauty industry and left the Estee Lauder brand. Crystal was the founder of REFeyeANCE Makeup & Hair (formally known as Eye Do Makeup- & Hair) in 2009 where she found her passion working with makeup artists and hairstylists in the Cincinnati area. Crystal's primary goal is to make sure to provide you with the best makeup & hair team imaginable. You can depend on your artists to show up on time and ready to beautify your entire bridal party. Karesa has been a huge asset to REFeyeANCE Makeup & Hair Cincinnati for over 11 years. She is another one of our most requested artists in the Cincinnati- Dayton area. She is also the scheduling manager with REFeyeANCE. A month before your wedding, Karesa will put together a detailed schedule for you so that makeup & hair is extremely organized the day of the wedding. You will know exactly what time your artists will arrive and finish everyone's hair and makeup. Sam F. is an extremely talented makeup artist who specializes in all makeup styles from natural to full glam. Sam has also been a licensed cosmetologist since 2013. Since she has been doing hair professionally for 12 years now, she knows all the tips & tricks to make your hair look perfect on your wedding day. Sam is a salon owner which makes it nice for our Cincinnati and Covington brides because her bridal studio is only about 10 minutes from downtown. Kelley has been making brides look their best for over 10 years. Kelley has been an Advanced Esthetician since 2016 with a strong focus on perfecting each client's skin by using HD airbrushing that blurs out any imperfection. Do you wish to cover blemishes, scars and fine lines? Airbrushing is silicone based and will fill in any flaw to the skin and will also make the rest of your makeup look perfect for hours. When Kelley is not working weddings she is is a lash technician where she is certified in eyelash extensions. She also offers complimentary strip lashes with each adult wedding makeup application. She carries a variety of lash types and customizes them to each client's eye shape. Kelley also specializes in all bridal hairstyles including boho braids, fishtail braids, bubble braids and more.

Jasmine is a licensed cosmetologist who is an expert on all things related to hair and makeup. Jasmine grew up in the makeup & hair industry as her mom is the owner of REFeyeANCE Makeup & Hair. At a young age, Jasmine attended many bridal makeup & hair trainings taught by the leaders in the bridal beauty field. Jasmine works weddings every weekend and specializes in glam makeup, winged eyeliner, lashes, airbrushing, highlighting and contouring. When it comes to bridal hair, Jasmine knows all of the latest curl techniques such as glam waves, beach waves, mermaid hair curls, 4c curls, clip in and Bellami hair extensions. She is constantly studying the latest in hair and makeup trends. When Jasmine is not working weddings, she is at her salon offering all things beauty related. She truly has a creative eye for making you look like the best version of yourself.
